Matt and I planned a last minute day trip to see a new spot neither of us had been to but both of us had seen plenty of times on Instagram. Rowena Crest is a seriously gorgeous viewpoint and hike right outside of Hood River along the Columbia Gorge. When we pulled up we did not even believe it was the right spot but as soon as we looked over the edge we were in awe. It is such a beautiful view especially in the fall (everything is better in the fall lets be honest). We hiked around and enjoyed the crazy wind. I would defiantly recommend the drive from Portland and bring extra layers of clothing!
